Occupations Code § 1101.363","heading":"ISSUANCE OF LICENSE.","body":"(a) The commission shall issue an appropriate license to an applicant who meets the requirements for a license.\n(b) The commission may issue an inactive sales agent license to a person who applies for a sales agent license and satisfies all requirements for the license. The person may not act as a sales agent unless the person is sponsored by a licensed broker who has notified the commission as required by Section 1101.367(b).\n(c) A license remains in effect for the period prescribed by the commission if the license holder complies with this chapter and pays the appropriate renewal fees.\nAdded by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 1421, Sec. 2, eff.
