Occupations Code § 1101.457","heading":"DEFERRAL OF CONTINUING EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS.","body":"(a) The commission by rule may establish procedures under which an applicant may have the applicant's license issued, renewed, or returned to active status before the applicant completes continuing education requirements.\n(b) The commission may require an applicant under this section to:\n(1) pay a fee, not to exceed $200, in addition to any fee for late renewal of a license under this chapter; and\n(2) complete the required continuing education not later than the 60th day after the date the license is issued, renewed, or returned to active status.\nAdded by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 1421, Sec. 2, eff.
