Occupations Code § 1101.708","heading":"COLLECTION OF PENALTY.","body":"(a) If the person does not pay the administrative penalty and the enforcement of the penalty is not stayed, the executive director may refer the matter to the attorney general for collection of the penalty.\n(b) If the attorney general notifies the commission that the attorney general will not pursue collection of the penalty, the commission may pursue collection of the penalty by any lawful means.\nAdded by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 1421, Sec. 2, eff.
