Occupations Code § 1103.507","heading":"SUBPOENA IN CONTESTED CASE.","body":"(a) The executive director shall issue a subpoena to compel the attendance of a witness or the production of records or other evidence if:\n(1) a party to the proceeding requests the subpoena orally or in writing;\n(2) the request specifies each item of evidence sought and the full name and address of each witness sought; and\n(3) the party shows reasonable cause.\n(b) A party or the board may petition the district court to enforce a subpoena issued under this section. If the party or the board makes a proper showing, the district court shall order the person to whom the subpoena is issued to obey the subpoena.\nAdded by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 1421, Sec. 2, eff.
