Occupations Code § 1201.052","heading":"GENERAL RULEMAKING AUTHORITY.","body":"(a) The director shall adopt rules, issue orders, and otherwise act as necessary to ensure compliance with the purposes of this chapter to implement and provide for uniform enforcement of this chapter and the standards code.\n(b) To protect the public health, safety, and welfare and to ensure the availability of low cost manufactured housing for all consumers, the director shall adopt rules to:\n(1) protect the interests of consumers who occupy or want to purchase or install manufactured housing; and\n(2) govern the business conduct of license holders.\nAdded by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 1421, Sec. 2, eff.
