Occupations Code § 1201.359","heading":"APPLICATION OF WARRANTIES IF HUD-CODE MANUFACTURED HOME MOVED.","body":"(a) The manufacturer's and retailer's warranties do not apply to any defect or damage caused by moving a new HUD-code manufactured home from the initial installation site.\n(b) Conspicuous notice of the warranty exception under Subsection (a) must be given to the consumer at the time of sale.\n(c) The warrantor has the burden of proof to show that the defect or damage is caused by the move.\nAdded by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 1421, Sec. 2, eff.
