Occupations Code § 1201.453","heading":"HABITABILITY.","body":"Manufactured housing is habitable only if:\n(1) there is no defect or deterioration in or damage to the home that creates a dangerous situation;\n(2) the plumbing, heating, and electrical systems are in safe working order;\n(3) the walls, floor, and roof are:\n(A) free from a substantial opening that was not designed; and\n(B) structurally sound; and\n(4) all exterior doors and windows are in place and operate properly.\nAdded by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 1421, Sec. 2, eff.
