Occupations Code § 1202.052","heading":"MEMBERSHIP RESTRICTIONS.","body":"An engineer or architect member of the council may not:\n(1) be designated as, be employed by, or have an ownership interest in, an entity that is a third-party inspector or design review agency;\n(2) have an ownership interest in a business that manufactures or builds industrialized housing or buildings;\n(3) in a capacity relating to a matter subject to council review, be employed by or be a paid consultant to a manufacturer or builder of industrialized housing or buildings; or\n(4) be an officer, employee, or paid consultant of a trade association that represents the industrialized housing or building industry.\nAdded by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 1421, Sec. 2, eff.
