Occupations Code § 1302.054","heading":"CERTAIN MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL.","body":"This chapter does not apply to a person who performs air conditioning and refrigeration maintenance work if:\n(1) the person is a maintenance person or maintenance engineer and is a regular employee of the owner, lessee, or management company of the property where the work is being performed;\n(2) the person performs the work in connection with the business in which the person is employed; and\n(3) the person and the person's employer do not engage in air conditioning and refrigeration contracting for the public.\nAdded by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 1421, Sec. 3, eff.
