Occupations Code § 1305.152","heading":"APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS.","body":"(a) An applicant for a license under this chapter must:\n(1) submit to the department a completed application on a form prescribed by the executive director;\n(2) submit to the department any other information required by executive director rule;\n(3) demonstrate to the satisfaction of the executive director the appropriate amount of electrical work experience as required by this subchapter; and\n(4) pay the application and examination fees.\n(b) The executive director shall adopt rules to establish a process by which the department shall evaluate the experience required of applicants for a license under this chapter.\n(c) The department may conduct an examination of any criminal conviction of an applicant, including obtaining any criminal history record information permitted by law.\nAdded by Acts 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 1062, Sec. 1, eff.
