Occupations Code § 156.056","heading":"CERTAIN VOLUNTEER SERVICES.","body":"(a) In this section, \"practice serving a medically underserved population\" has the meaning assigned by Section 157.051.\n(b) The board by rule shall permit a license holder to complete half of any informal continuing medical education hours required under this subchapter by providing volunteer medical services at a practice serving a medically underserved population other than a site that is a primary practice site of the license holder.\nAdded by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 1420, Sec. 14.029(a), eff.
