Occupations Code § 159.001","heading":"DEFINITIONS.","body":"In this chapter:\n(1) \"Billing record\" means a record that describes charges for services provided to a patient by a physician.\n(2) \"Medical record\" does not include a billing record.\n(3) \"Patient\" means a person who, to receive medical care, consults with or is seen by a physician.\nActs 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 388, Sec. 1, eff.
