Occupations Code § 1603.052","heading":"DUTIES OF ADVISORY BOARD.","body":"(a) The advisory board shall advise the commission and the department on:\n(1) education and curricula for applicants;\n(2) the content of examinations;\n(3) proposed rules and standards on technical issues related to barbering and cosmetology; and\n(4) other issues affecting barbering and cosmetology.\n(b) The advisory board shall respond to questions from the commission and the department regarding barbering and cosmetology.\nAdded by Acts 2021, 87th Leg., R.S., Ch. 663 (H.B. 1560), Sec. 3.04, eff.
