Occupations Code § 1603.2109","heading":"SERVICE AT UNLICENSED LOCATION.","body":"(a) In this section, \"licensed facility\" means:\n(1) an establishment licensed under Subchapter E-2; or\n(2) a school licensed under Subchapter E-3.\n(b) A person holding a license under this subchapter may perform a service within the scope of the license at a location other than a licensed facility for a client:\n(1) who, because of illness or physical or mental incapacitation, is unable to receive the service at a licensed facility; or\n(2) in preparation for and at the location of a special event, including a wedding.\n(c) An appointment for a service performed under this section must be made through a licensed facility.\nAdded by Acts 2021, 87th Leg., R.S., Ch. 663 (H.B. 1560), Sec. 3.20, eff.
