Occupations Code § 1603.3002","heading":"RENEWAL RULES.","body":"(a) The commission by rule may establish requirements for the renewal of a license issued under this chapter, including continuing education requirements.\n(b) The commission may establish separate requirements for:\n(1) the initial renewal of a license; and\n(2) subsequent renewals of a license.\n(c) Before establishing continuing education requirements under this section, the commission must consider the potential impact of continuing education with respect to:\n(1) identifying and assisting trafficked persons; and\n(2) providing license holders with opportunities to acquire new skills.\nAdded by Acts 2021, 87th Leg., R.S., Ch. 663 (H.B. 1560), Sec. 3.24, eff.
