Occupations Code § 165.154","heading":"FALSE STATEMENT; OFFENSE.","body":"(a) A person commits an offense if the person knowingly makes a false statement:\n(1) in the person's application for a license; or\n(2) under oath to obtain a license or to secure the registration of a license to practice medicine.\n(b) An offense under this section is a Class A misdemeanor unless the actor's intent is to defraud or harm another, in which event the offense is a state jail felony.\nActs 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 388, Sec. 1, eff.
