Occupations Code § 1701.058","heading":"MEETINGS.","body":"(a) The commission shall meet at least once during each biennium to receive public comment on training and standards for officers and county jailers. Within a reasonable time after the meeting, the commission shall report to the governor and legislature findings and recommendations resulting from the meeting.\n(b) The commission may meet at other times and places in this state that the commission considers proper. The presiding officer may call a meeting on the officer's own motion and shall call a meeting on the written request of five members.\nActs 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 388, Sec. 1, eff.
