Occupations Code § 1701.160","heading":"AUTHORITY TO COMMISSION INVESTIGATORS AS PEACE OFFICERS.","body":"(a) The commission may commission certified peace officers as investigators employed by the commission for the limited purpose of assisting the commission in administering this chapter.\n(b) The commission shall ensure a peace officer commissioned under Subsection (a) is compensated according to Schedule C of the position classification salary schedule prescribed by the General Appropriations Act.\nAdded by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 1420, Sec. 14.501(a), eff.
