Occupations Code § 1702.1183","heading":"RECIPROCAL COMPANY LICENSE FOR CERTAIN APPLICANTS.","body":"(a) The department may waive any prerequisite to obtaining a company license for an applicant who holds a company license issued by another jurisdiction with which this state has a reciprocity agreement.\n(b) The commission may make an agreement, subject to the approval of the governor, with another state to allow for licensing by reciprocity.\n(c) The commission shall adopt rules under which the commission may waive any prerequisite to obtaining a company license for, and credit experience for a company license requirement to, an individual who the commission determines has acceptable experience gained during service in a branch of the United States armed forces, including the United States Coast Guard.\nAdded by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 1420, Sec. 14.598, eff.
