Occupations Code § 1702.165","heading":"ISSUANCE OF SECURITY OFFICER COMMISSION; POCKET CARD.","body":"(a) The department:\n(1) may issue a security officer commission to an individual employed as a uniformed security officer; and\n(2) shall issue a security officer commission to a qualified employee of an armored car company that is a carrier conducting the armored car business under a federal or state permit or certificate.\n(b) A security officer commission issued under this section must be in the form of a pocket card designed by the department that identifies the security officer.\nActs 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 388, Sec. 1, eff.
