Occupations Code § 1702.205","heading":"PERSONAL PROTECTION OFFICER TRAINING.","body":"(a) The commission shall establish a 15-hour course for a personal protection officer consisting of training in nonlethal self-defense or defense of a third person.\n(b) The training required by this section:\n(1) must be provided in-person; and\n(2) is in addition to the basic training course for security officers.\nActs 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 388, Sec. 1, eff.
