Occupations Code § 1704.251","heading":"INVESTIGATION.","body":"(a) A board, on its own motion, may investigate an action of or a record maintained by a license holder that relates to a complaint that the license holder has violated this chapter.\n(b) A board shall investigate an action of or a record maintained by a license holder if:\n(1) the board receives a sworn complaint providing reasonable cause to believe that a violation of this chapter has occurred; or\n(2) a court requests an investigation.\nActs 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 388, Sec. 1, eff.
