Occupations Code § 1802.102","heading":"APPOINTMENT OF ADVISORY BOARD; MEMBERSHIP; ELIGIBILITY.","body":"(a) The advisory board consists of seven members appointed as follows:\n(1) four members who are licensed auctioneers appointed by the presiding officer of the commission, with the commission's approval;\n(2) one member who represents an auction school; and\n(3) two public members.\n(b) In appointing advisory board members, the presiding officer of the commission shall consider the geographical diversity of the members.\n(c) Appointments to the advisory board shall be made without regard to the race, color, handicap, sex, religion, age, or national origin of the appointees.\nActs 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 388, Sec. 1, eff.
