Occupations Code § 1804.204","heading":"CIVIL PENALTIES.","body":"(a) A person who violates this chapter is liable to the state for a civil penalty of not more than $10,000 for each violation.\n(b) A person who violates an injunction issued under this chapter is liable to the state for a civil penalty of not less than $100,000.\n(c) The attorney general shall bring an action to recover a civil penalty.\n(d) If the violator has filed a bond under this chapter, the suit may be brought against the bond.\nActs 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 388, Sec. 1, eff.
