Occupations Code § 1805.102","heading":"PURCHASE AT TEMPORARY LOCATION OF SECONDHAND DEALER.","body":"(a) A secondhand dealer conducting business from a temporary location may not engage in the business of buying business machines unless the person has filed within a 12-month period at least 30 days before the date on which each purchase is made:\n(1) a registration statement with the Department of Public Safety; and\n(2) a copy of the registration statement with the local law enforcement agency of:\n(A) the municipality in which the temporary location is located; or\n(B) the county in which the temporary location is located if the temporary location is not located in a municipality.\n(b) The statement must contain:\n(1) the secondhand dealer's name and address;\n(2) the business's location; and\n(3) other relevant information required by the department.\n(c) If the secondhand dealer is an association or corporation, the statement must set forth the name and address of:\n(1) each member of the association; or\n(2) each officer and director of the corporation.\nActs 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 388, Sec. 1, eff.
