Occupations Code § 1901.202","heading":"CONTENTS OF EXAMINATION.","body":"(a) The department shall ensure that examinations are designed to disqualify a person who lacks the necessary knowledge of drilling, of completion and plugging methods and techniques, and of groundwater formations to the extent that drilling by the person would create a serious risk of polluting fresh water.\n(b) The department may prescribe additional requirements:\n(1) for the examination of monitoring well drillers; and\n(2) that relate to water conservation for the examination of dewatering well drillers.\nAdded by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 1421, Sec. 4, eff.
