Occupations Code § 1903.053","heading":"STANDARDS.","body":"(a) The commission shall adopt by rule and enforce standards governing:\n(1) the connection of irrigation systems to any water supply;\n(2) the design, installation, and operation of irrigation systems;\n(3) water conservation; and\n(4) the duties and responsibilities of licensed irrigators.\n(b) The commission may not require or prohibit the use of any irrigation system, component part, or equipment of any particular brand or manufacturer.\n(c) In adopting standards under this section, the commission shall consult the council.\nAdded by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 1421, Sec. 4, eff.
