Occupations Code § 1951.253","heading":"PUBLIC PARTICIPATION.","body":"(a) The department shall develop and implement policies that provide the public with a reasonable opportunity to appear before the committee and to speak on any issue for which the committee has a duty under this chapter to advise the department.\n(b) The department shall prepare and maintain a written plan that describes how a person who does not speak English or who has a physical, mental, or developmental disability can be provided reasonable access to the department's programs under this chapter.\nAdded by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 1421, Sec. 4, eff.
