Occupations Code § 1955.105","heading":"CRIMINAL PENALTY.","body":"(a) A person commits an offense if:\n(1) the person knowingly violates this chapter or a rule adopted or certification issued under this chapter; and\n(2) the violation endangers the public health and safety.\n(b) An offense under this section is a misdemeanor punishable by:\n(1) a fine not to exceed $10,000;\n(2) confinement for a term not to exceed six months; or\n(3) both the fine and the confinement.\nAdded by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 1421, Sec. 4, eff.
