Occupations Code § 1956.128","heading":"ADMINISTRATIVE PENALTY.","body":"(a) The commission may impose an administrative penalty under Subchapter R, Chapter 411, Government Code, on a metal recycling entity that:\n(1) violates Section 1956.123 due to the entity's failure to exercise due diligence in purchasing or acquiring a catalytic converter removed from a motor vehicle; or\n(2) violates Section 1956.124.\n(b) The amount of the administrative penalty may not exceed $10,000.\nAdded by Acts 2023, 88th Leg., R.S., Ch. 269 (S.B. 224), Sec. 3.07, eff.
