Occupations Code § 1956.137","heading":"ADMINISTRATIVE PENALTY.","body":"(a) The commission may impose an administrative penalty under Subchapter R, Chapter 411, Government Code, on a metal recycling entity that:\n(1) violates Section 1956.133 due to the entity's failure to exercise due diligence in purchasing or acquiring copper or brass material; or\n(2) violates Section 1956.134.\n(b) The amount of the administrative penalty may not exceed $10,000.\nAdded by Acts 2025, 89th Leg., R.S., Ch. 319 (S.B. 1646), Sec. 2.04, eff.
