Occupations Code § 201.051","heading":"BOARD; MEMBERSHIP.","body":"(a) The Texas Board of Chiropractic Examiners consists of nine members appointed by the governor with the advice and consent of the senate as follows:\n(1) six chiropractors who are reputable practicing chiropractors and who have resided in this state for at least five years preceding appointment; and\n(2) three members who represent the public.\n(b) Appointments to the board shall be made without regard to the race, color, disability, sex, religion, age, or national origin of the appointee.\nActs 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 388, Sec. 1, eff.
