Occupations Code § 202.055","heading":"TERMS; VACANCIES.","body":"(a) Members of the advisory board serve staggered six-year terms, with the term of three members expiring on February 1 of each odd-numbered year. At the expiration of the term of each member, the governor shall appoint a successor.\n(b) If a vacancy occurs during a term, the governor shall appoint a replacement who meets the qualifications of the vacated position to serve for the remainder of the term.\nActs 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 388, Sec. 1, eff.
