Occupations Code § 2025.256","heading":"LICENSE FEES.","body":"(a) The commission by rule shall adopt a fee schedule for licenses issued under this subchapter.\n(b) The commission shall base the license fee amounts on the relative or comparative incomes or property interests of the various categories of license holders, with the lower income categories charged nearer the minimum fee and the higher income categories charged nearer the maximum fee.\n(c) In setting the fee schedule under Subsection (a), the commission shall include the cost of criminal history record information obtained under Section 2023.058. The commission may determine the best method for recovering this cost and complying with this section, including collecting the costs over an extended period.\nAdded by Acts 2017, 85th Leg., R.S., Ch. 963 (S.B. 1969), Sec. 1.01, eff.
