Occupations Code § 2027.001","heading":"PARI-MUTUEL WAGERING RULES.","body":"(a) The commission shall adopt rules to regulate wagering on horse races and greyhound races under the system known as pari-mutuel wagering.\n(b) Rules adopted under this subtitle must include rules to:\n(1) regulate wagering by a person licensed under this subtitle;\n(2) prohibit wagering by a commission employee;\n(3) prohibit a racetrack association from accepting a wager made by telephone; and\n(4) prohibit a racetrack association from accepting a wager made on credit.\n(c) Commission rules adopted under this subtitle must be written and updated to ensure maximum enforceability.\nAdded by Acts 2017, 85th Leg., R.S., Ch. 963 (S.B. 1969), Sec. 1.01, eff.
