Occupations Code § 204.101","heading":"GENERAL POWERS AND DUTIES OF BOARD.","body":"The physician assistant board shall:\n(1) adopt rules that are reasonable and necessary for the performance of the physician assistant board's duties under this chapter, as provided by Chapter 2001, Government Code, including rules to establish:\n(A) licensing and other fees;\n(B) license renewal dates; and\n(C) procedures for disciplinary actions;\n(2) review and approve or reject each application for the issuance or renewal of a license;\n(3) issue each license;\n(4) deny, suspend, or revoke a license or otherwise discipline a license holder; and\n(5) take any action necessary to carry out the functions and duties of the physician assistant board under this chapter.\nActs 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 388, Sec. 1, eff.
