Occupations Code § 204.308","heading":"SUBPOENA.","body":"(a) The executive director or the secretary-treasurer of the medical board may issue a subpoena or subpoena duces tecum for the physician assistant board to:\n(1) conduct an investigation or a contested proceeding related to:\n(A) alleged misconduct by a physician assistant;\n(B) an alleged violation of this chapter or other law related to practice as a physician assistant; or\n(C) the provision of health care under this chapter;\n(2) issue, suspend, restrict, or revoke a license under this chapter; or\n(3) deny or grant an application for a license under this chapter.\n(b) Failure to timely comply with a subpoena issued under this section is a ground for:\n(1) disciplinary action by the physician assistant board or another licensing or regulatory agency with jurisdiction over the person subject to the subpoena; and\n(2) denial of a license application.\nActs 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 388, Sec. 1, eff.
