Occupations Code § 206.201","heading":"LICENSE REQUIRED.","body":"(a) Except as provided by Section 206.002, a person may not practice as a surgical assistant unless the person is licensed under this chapter.\n(b) Unless the person holds a license under this chapter, a person may not use, in connection with the person's name:\n(1) the title \"Licensed Surgical Assistant\"; or\n(2) any other designation that would imply that the person is a licensed surgical assistant.\nAdded by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 1014, Sec. 1, eff.
