Occupations Code § 2151.106","heading":"MINIMUM STANDARDS.","body":"(a) An amusement ride covered by this chapter that is sold, maintained, or operated in this state must comply with standards established by the American Society of Testing and Materials (ASTM) as of May 1, 1999. Those standards are minimum standards.\n(b) To the extent that the standards of the American Society of Testing and Materials conflict with the requirements of this chapter, the more stringent requirement or standard applies.\nAdded by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 1420, Sec. 14.703(c), eff.
