Occupations Code § 2301.253","heading":"LICENSE REQUIRED: VEHICLE LEASE FACILITATORS.","body":"Unless a person holds a vehicle lease facilitator license and complies with this chapter, the person may not:\n(1) act in the capacity of or engage in the business of a vehicle lease facilitator;\n(2) hold the person out to any other person as a \"leasing company,\" \"leasing agent,\" \"lease facilitator,\" or similar title, directly or indirectly engaged in the business of a vehicle lease facilitator; or\n(3) otherwise engage in the solicitation or procurement of a prospective lessee for a motor vehicle that is not titled in the name of and registered to the person.\nAdded by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 1421, Sec. 5, eff.
