Occupations Code § 2301.260","heading":"APPLICATION FOR DISTRIBUTOR'S LICENSE.","body":"(a) An application for a distributor's license must disclose:\n(1) the manufacturer for whom the distributor will act;\n(2) whether the manufacturer is licensed in this state;\n(3) the persons in this state who will be responsible for compliance with the warranty covering the motor vehicles to be sold;\n(4) the terms of the contract under which the distributor will act for the manufacturer; and\n(5) the franchised dealers with whom the distributor will do business.\n(b) An applicant for a distributor's license that has a responsibility under a warranty agreement must include a statement regarding the manufacturer's compliance with Subchapter I and Sections 2301.451-2301.476.\n(c) An applicant for or holder of a distributor's license must inform the board of a change in the information provided under this section not later than the 15th day after the date of the change. Information submitted under this subsection becomes a part of the application.\nAdded by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 1421, Sec. 5, eff.
