Occupations Code § 2301.708","heading":"CONDUCT OF HEARING.","body":"(a) A hearing must be convened at the time and place stated in the notice.\n(b) A hearing may be recessed until a time and place certain:\n(1) by giving advance notice as required by Section 2001.057, Government Code; or\n(2) without advance notice if the time and place is announced openly before the recess.\n(c) Except as otherwise provided by this chapter, a person whose legal rights, duties, or privileges are to be determined at a hearing is entitled to:\n(1) appear personally or by counsel;\n(2) cross-examine adverse witnesses; and\n(3) produce evidence and witnesses in the person's own behalf.\nAdded by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 1421, Sec. 5, eff.
