Occupations Code § 2302.106","heading":"LICENSE ISSUANCE.","body":"(a) The department shall issue a license to an applicant who meets the license qualifications adopted under this chapter and pays the required fees.\n(b) A license may not be issued in a fictitious name that may be confused with or is similar to that of a governmental entity or that is otherwise deceptive or misleading to the public.\nAdded by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 1421, Sec. 5, eff.
