Occupations Code § 2310.158","heading":"SERVICE TECHNICIAN LICENSE REQUIREMENTS.","body":"(a) The department shall issue a license to each qualified applicant who applies for a service technician license.\n(b) The commission by rule may require an applicant for the issuance or renewal of a service technician license to:\n(1) provide proof that the applicant has completed an academic, trade, or professional course of instruction approved by the department; and\n(2) pass a written test, a practical skills test, or both.\nAdded by Acts 2019, 86th Leg., R.S., Ch. 1219 (S.B. 2119), Sec. 1, eff.
