Occupations Code § 260.003","heading":"EMPLOYMENT BY ORGANIZATIONS SERVING UNDERSERVED POPULATIONS.","body":"A dentist licensed by the board may be employed by or contract with an organization if:\n(1) the organization is a nonprofit corporation under the Texas Non-Profit Corporation Act (Article 1396-1.01 et seq., Vernon's Texas Civil Statutes) and Section 501(c)(3), Internal Revenue Code of 1986 (26 U.S.C. Section 501); and\n(2) the organization is:\n(A) approved by the board as an organization that provides services to underserved populations for no fee or a reduced fee; or\n(B) a clinic that provides dental services primarily to individuals who have acquired immune deficiency syndrome or the human immunodeficiency virus.\nActs 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 388, Sec. 1, eff.
