Occupations Code § 301.151","heading":"GENERAL RULEMAKING AUTHORITY.","body":"The board may adopt and enforce rules consistent with this chapter and necessary to:\n(1) perform its duties and conduct proceedings before the board;\n(2) regulate the practice of professional nursing and vocational nursing;\n(3) establish standards of professional conduct for license holders under this chapter; and\n(4) except as provided by Section 22.052, Education Code, determine whether an act constitutes the practice of professional nursing or vocational nursing.\nActs 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 388, Sec. 1, eff.
