Occupations Code § 301.553","heading":"CIVIL PENALTY.","body":"(a) A person who violates Section 301.451 or Section 301.251 is liable to the state for a civil penalty not to exceed $1,000 a day.\n(b) The civil penalty may be collected in a suit initiated by the board.\nActs 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 388, Sec. 1, eff.
