Occupations Code § 353.104","heading":"EMERGENCY REFILL.","body":"(a) If a patient needs an emergency refill of the patient's contact lens prescription, a physician, optometrist, or therapeutic optometrist may telephone or fax the prescription to a person who dispenses contact lenses or may verify a prescription under Section 353.1015.\n(b) A fax or telephone record received under Subsection (a) must include the name, address, telephone number, and license number of the physician, optometrist, or therapeutic optometrist.\nActs 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 388, Sec. 1, eff.
