Occupations Code § 401.302","heading":"ISSUANCE OF LICENSE.","body":"(a) The department shall issue a license to an applicant who meets the requirements of this chapter and who pays to the department the initial nonrefundable license fee.\n(b) The department may issue to an applicant a license in either speech-language pathology or audiology.\n(c) The department may issue a license in both speech-language pathology and audiology to an applicant.\n(d) The commission by rule shall establish qualifications for dual licensing in speech-language pathology and audiology and may develop a full range of licensing options and establish rules for qualifications.\nActs 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 388, Sec. 1, eff.
