Occupations Code § 402.101","heading":"GENERAL POWERS AND DUTIES.","body":"(a) The executive director shall administer and enforce this chapter.\n(b) The department shall:\n(1) evaluate the qualifications of applicants;\n(2) examine applicants; and\n(3) in connection with a hearing under this chapter, issue subpoenas, examine witnesses, and administer oaths under the laws of this state.\nActs 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 388, Sec. 1, eff.
